We made Keir some tags and we went to the grandparents houses and Keir sold his cookies! (He wanted to go door to door, but we told him sundays aren't a good selling day, so lets practice with the family). He made $14. After that I thought maybe I'll start selling cookies. Grandparents can never say no to someone as cute as Keir. They were awfully generous. I hope Keir continues to have this much ambition. I love it and think it's totally Awesome!! Way to go buddy. You make me so proud!!

Real Soccer Game

Last night John and I went with Seth, Emmy, Bryan and Rachel to the Real Soccer Game! It was fun, other then the fact that I was STARVING and tired, that combo always makes me a little grouchy. Real WON!! They played the NY Redbulls. The score was 1 to 0! Boo Yeah! Can't wait to go again, when my tum-E tum tum is full and I am well rested!

My poor little Bubba, every time he gets a cold it turns into the nasty croup. I just hate it. I feel so helpless. I was making me a protein shake, blending it in the blender and he coughed, it was so loud and masculine I jumped. It freaked me out. I thought there was a man in the house. So today is our lazy day where we went to the redbox and rented some DVD's so he could lay around and try to get better. I guess no preschool for tomorrow. Love him, wish he wasn't Mr. Sickly.

1st Day of Preschool

Today was Keir's 1st day of preschool and he did Fabulous! I decided this year to put him in the afternoon, I think that was a good choice. He is NOT a morning person. All morning he kept saying, "I don't want to go to preschool, I hate preschool. I don't feel good I think I need to stay home." By lunch time he was fine and ready to go! He was happy!

Holy Cow I can't believe Keir is starting preschool tomorrow. He has grown so much from last year. He is such a smarty but he is very stubborn! I've tried working with him on his letters and I was getting no response. I finally just bought the Leap Frog's Letter Factory, Lets go to School, and Talking Words Factory. Can I just say... He immediately picked it up. He started making the sound of the letter and then saying the letter that makes that sound! Today we were playing outside with the sidewalk chalk and he started writing letters. It was so exciting for me to see that he does listen, just not to me! (Hey, that made me think of an idea, I will just make movies of me telling him what to do and how to do it... maybe it'll work?) Anyway... I took pictures and here they are...

I can't believe summer is over. We had a fabulous summer. There is just one thing we haven't done and that is go camping! I really want to go. When I was a little girl we would go all the time! I loved it, it was camping in a trailer, which is different then a tent. I'll take a tent at this point though!~

Yay, Myla's hair is finally long enough to do something with it. It's so fun to do. I think she looks so cute and grown up!

Today was a great day! We went to story time and then the park with our friends Jessica, Landon and Leighton. It was a beautiful day. Myla got a little sunburn on her nose and so did I. That's how nice it was outside!

Myla's first time at story time where she sat on a big kid chair and had the treat! She though she was something special! And she is!

I know it looks like I am Myla obsessed, but I love both my kiddos! The picture with Keir and Myla on the slide didn't turn out and I was very sad because it was my FAVORTIE!

My sister Kelsey had her baby Feb 13. Baby Beckham. She was kind enough to fly me out to California to see her and her sweet little new addition. I had a blast. It was nice to be without the kiddlets, even though I love them dearly, breaks are mandatory. We went shopping, to the gym, swimming and to the beach. I definitely could have stayed longer! It was fabulous!

11 Months and Oh So Pretty

Myla is officially 11 Months. That means in one month she will be ONE. I can't and don't want to believe it. It just flies on by. She is a funny little girl. She has 7 teeth. 4 on top and 3 on bottom. She is currently obsessed with blankets and her jacket. For some reason she loves her jacket and grunts and hands me it until I put it on her. She love to play in the laundry and tries to put stuff on. She started saying "Keir" which sounds more like "Deir" and she claps when you say "Yay" She is still a happy little girl. She is so fun. We love her to pieces.

I took the rubber ducky and shrunk him down and put him on the lake! AWESOME!

Happy 10 Months!

She is getting so big! She loves to dance and shake her booty. She just got 3 new teeth and has more coming! She gives kisses. she loves to pull hair and laugh when it hurts, really weird. She is the happiest little girl! Always so smiley! I am surprised she is not walking, she walks along everything and pushed things.. chairs, Keir's shopping cart, her walker thingy. She's a good little eater. The list could go on and on! Which it might when I can think of more! She is so cute and fun! We love her! She makes a great addition to our little Fam!

Dinner is Ready!

I finally started making dinner again and it feels good! Some of the things I made are...

Veggie Black Bean burger with Coleslaw salad.

It was really good if you had the mind set that it is beans NOT meat! Tastes nothing like a nice juicy Hamburger. It was still good and the salad was refreshing! Then next day I made a Black Bean patty but ate it on top of cilantro lime rice and topped with avocado, sour cream and cholula! It was fantastic!

Then I made Sweet Potato and Chickpea Curry. Yummy as usual!

Then I mad a Fabulous Beef and Pinto Bean Chili!! Now that was Phenomenal!! My favorite chili EVER!!

Moo and the Movies

Ouch, That Looks Like It Hurts!

Poor guy was cutting cards (he is, well was, into making valentine cards even though the holiday has been over for a while) when some how he cut his finger. Please note that those were CHILD scissors not adult. He was at the table and I was at the counter and all of the sudden he is whining, and now standing, holding his finger with a little blood coming out. I was like "Oh bud it's ok it's just a little cut. Lets go to the bathroom and rinse it off." So we do and when the water runs on it and I can actually see it's not just a little cut, that is when I call for JOHN!! For some reason I can handle other peoples injuries, well kind of, but when it's my kids I can't. The thing bled and bled for forever! It was making us nervous but there is no way you could stitch it up. Finally after almost a week the bleeding has stopped. Myla moo stepped on it when they were playing and that made it bleed again. Then someone at preschool went ahead and stepped on it as well. Poor guy can't catch a break!

We had lost the charger to the video camera and after about 2 sad years we finally bought one! the camera was dead so we couldn't get the tape out. I am so sad at all of the memories we could have captured but didn't. We've practically missed all of Myla as a baby! I could just cry thinking about it! After the camera was charged we watched what was on it! Keir as a baby. Big and little! So sweet. What I wouldn't give to go back just for a day when he was little...

Happy Birthday Emmy!

Little Iris is getting so BIG! She is so darn cute and has the most prettiest blue eyes EVER!! The picture doesn't do justice!

We made bars instead of cake and WOWZERS does that look special! Keir would not stop telling us we needed to eat the bars! We were all so stuffed from dinner, but we went ahead and ate those bars just for Keir! As soon as those ghetto candles were out Keir picked up the biggest bar and went to town on it asking for another when he was done!

It was such a nice day out! Keir had a friend over to play and they were actually able to play OUTSIDE! Yippy! Don't ask what Keir is doing? Just being Keir I Guess!

So Little Moo Moo turned 9 months. She is quite the busy little thing. She LOVES to dance. Anytime musics on her little booty is a shake'n. It's too funny. She loves her brother and loves to play in his room with his toys. I remember with Keir he would never just crawl into another room and start playing. It's fun to see the differences in the two of them. She is the happiest little baby I know. All you have to do is look her way and she is grinning from ear to ear! She has one tooth. Grandpa calls her Snaggletooth. She has another one that's about ready to shine through! We love her to bits and pieces and I couldn't imagine life with out her!

Happy Eight Months!

I can't even believe that my little babe is already 8 months. Where does time go? It's not fair! She is still the happiest baby! She's even happier now that she is crawling and moving around! She still only weighs a whopping 13 lbs but she's happy! She loves to stand at the coffee table and the tub. She actually got her first tooth today too! She loves chewing on wet wash cloths, playing in her big brothers bedroom, with his toys. She loves her momma and daddy and her brother, when he isn't teasing or picking on her!

So any advice on what to do with a 3 year old boy who likes to steal? He has been stealing from peoples houses. Weird random things. Today at the Dr.'s office he stole a little stuffed panda bear. We got home, my purse was on the floor with things ripped out of it and then he kept his bedroom door shut. Come to find out he was hiding the ugly stuffed panda. I made him take it back and apologize but obviously it had no effect because he was asking where my purse was at my moms so that he could steal a sucker from her that I said he couldn't have! One of these days he's going to shoplift and stick it in my purse and then I am going to look like and feel like a complete Idiot!

She is getting so big. She has been scooting since she was 5 months, started sitting at 6 months and now she's been getting up on her knees rocking. She even took a few crawls (however you would word it) the other day. On saterday when John went to get her out of her crib She was standing :( I know I am suppose to be excited but I don't want her to get big/older. With your first one, well with me anyway, it was when is he going to do this and when is he going to do that, but now I know better cause I know the damage that can be done with this and that! She is so little though at her last Dr appt a couple of weeks ago she weighed only 12 lbs 7 oz. I got a little teary eyed. I worry that she's not gaining enough weight but she's happy and healthy so all is well with this Little Miss Sunshine!

New but Used Table

John and I were due for a new table so I thought I was save us a few and just buy a used one and refinish it. I found this beaut for $30 (I forgot to get a before pic but you get the general Idea of what it looks like) John went out of town hunting so I though after I put the kids down for bed my Mom and I can tackle this beast. My mom loves when I involve her in my projects (not really) I convince her by telling her it's a bonding experience!

This is Ma sanding away that beautiful forest green color that was so popular in the early 90's!

This was the mother of all beast! Taking Varnish of is a pain. Laterally, my back was killing!

Ma in action! Are you getting why she doesn't enjoy my projects? (if not, it's because she's the one mostly tackling the job. Mother does it best!)

Tonight We, as in Sethy and I, finished the project. Although Ma gets out of this one, well sort of, she had to watch the kids...the credit goes to Sethy Poo on this one. I primed and he painted it! What a lovely job he did! I Can't wait to put 'er together and surround it with my pale yellow chairs for the finale! Thanks Seth and Mom! Don't get to relaxed I'm sure I'll have many more bonding projects to come!!

glad I did because right after I took the picture we went and ran an errand and when we got back....

Ear Infections

So I feel like the worst mom in the world. On Thursday I took the kids to go take there pictures up the canyon. The WHOLE time Keir was whining. He was driving me CRAZY! I was so snappy and short with him. Well we get home and he had no other option but to take a nap because I was done! He woke up warm and just as whiney. That night was hell so the next day I took them to the Dr because they were both coughing and snot was flying! Don't you worry he was whining for a reason! He has an EAR INFECTION!! Where were my motherly instincts on that one? Poor boy, he needs a loving mommy not a MEAN short tempered one! Sorry bud.

This is the results when Keir has an ear infection....

This is Myla with a ear infection (which by the way the Dr could hardly see because of her ear wax, dang it another bad mommy moment! How am I suppose to get it out? I don't want to shove it in further! The Dr agreed so I feel better!) Getting a kick out of Keir whining!

Little Miss Sunshine is 6 months old today! She is still as happy as can be unless... the lunch room (aka mommy) leaves her sight then it's a sad, sad story :( She is a scooting fool. She sits up for a little bit. She loves her big brother!

She has brought some serious Sunshine into our lives!

Keir Loves to play cars! And so does Myla Moo. As soon as she hears Keir dump them out she is over there! She could care less for her toys. She likes the Big kid toys!

There she is... She can't decide which one to play with?!? Too many to choose from.

Keir is the BEST big brother! He is so patient with the Myla Moo. He shares his cars and is always like.."Mom can she have this one?" or "She's fine she can have this one!" and if he doesn't want her to have one he finds her one she can have!

"Grunma and Grunpa"

Since the past 4 1/2 months we've lived with "Grunma and Grunpa" Keir has made some good buddies...

Grunma who he loves to play Hide N' Seek with and other various games and....

Grunpa who he loves to help whether it's taking down a tent or other various things. He loves being chased by him he loves his grunpa and is always concerned where or what "Grunpa" is doing. He told me last week that only "Grunpa, Seth and Me can mow the lawn" and when I asked him, "well, what about dad" his reply was "oh yeah...No dad just likes to be inside."

He even got his tools to help him with the tent!

I know we are only moving a few blocks away but we are sure going to miss our Grunma and Grunpa!

We love you guys so much and are so grateful for the past 4 1/2 months! Thanks for all you do for our little family! (I am crying right now...oh wow)

Leo Time and Eating Apples!

Beam Museum

Since it was fall break and Nana didn't have to teacher we went to the Beam Museum! We(Keir Myla and myself) went with Leo, Nana, Aunty Em and baby Iris!

Keir and Leo. Leo wasn't able to get out of the stroller in fear that he might want to become one with the animals and go WILD (even though they're only stuffed)! It was Hilarious, Nana was scared to get him out of his stroller, I look over and she has picked up the whole stroller and he is getting a drink out of the fountain! Funny stuff!

Baby Iris slept the whole time. What a little angel she is. (Ahhh... just look at those cheeks. I just want to kiss them! Eww...I Just love her!)

He didn't even cry. I did. Well I didn't cry I got choked up. I have looked forward to this day the day her turned the dreadful terrible 3's. It finally came and I am the one crying. I actually missed him as I drove away. What a relief though! When I'd ask him if he was excited he'd say."NO. I don't want to go to school." Those that know Keir, know he doesn't leave my side and it takes him a LONG time to warm up when there is people around he doesn't know! Not today!

I can't believe my baby is already 4 months old! Time goes so fast. In the last month she has been rolling over like crazy tummy to back, back to tummy. She has even scooted (I don't think on purpose.) She started laughing. She grabs things. Chews on anything she can get in her mouth. Right now she's working on getting 2 fists in her mouth since she already has the 1 down! She is so smiley and happy! I love her to pieces

Today we celebrated John's 27 years of awesomeness! We were suppose to go up the canyon and have tinfoil dinners and S'mores. Due to two fires up both Hobble Creek and Whiting we had to host the Party at Ma and Pa's. Tinfoil dinners and S'mores on the BBQ. It was a hit!

Keir's Funny For the Day!

Keir is always saying something funny. he's been funny, when I go to give Keir a kiss when he's leaving or going to bed or such he gives me a kiss then quivers in disgust after. It's funny because he gives me a kiss so willingly then is so grossed out by it. Anyway, today John was pinning him down kissing him. Keir's reply as he is freaking out, "No you're not suppose to do it like that, you're suppose to wrestle and tackle me that's how you show love." I immediately said "John did you teach him that?" John's reply,"No." Where did he pull that one out of then? We will never know.

So our little fam has been sick therefore we haven't been able to hold or see baby Iris. Yesterday I was finally able to hold this little itty bitty 5lb bundle of joy, but when I went down she was eating so I had to wait, then she made a poopie so I couldn't, then I had to get Keir dinner and ready for bed so I had to wait...which was very hard. While I was getting Keir's delicious hot dog dinner ready this was our conversation....

Keir: Why aren't you holding baby Iris

Me: because she is eating

Keir: But you can still hold her

Me: I guess I could, it might be a little awkward since she's eating

Keir: You could just feed her with yours

Me: Again, I guess I could but that would be very awkward for all of us

FINALLY I was able to hold her and she is the sweetest thing every...(Next to Myla moo that is cause nobody is as sweet as her!) She is soooo teeny tiny. Then Myla Moo woke up and all the sudden she turned into BABY GIANT! She knows something is up because you should have seen her trying to win her Uncle Sethy over with those smiles she was flashing at him! OH so cute!

Keir is just pulling out the funny ones today! (this is for memory purposes when I post stuff that Keir does or says pretty much everything is for my sake since I don't keep a journal.) Keir LOVES gum. He is always getting in my bag or wanting gum balls out of the gum ball machines. Where ever it might be he finds it and wants it! So he was digging in my bag for some and so I got him a piece. He chews it for a second, then comes running out of the room where John is and says..."dad said this kind of gum will electrocute me so I needs the other kind." he spits it out and gets new gum from my room. Where oh where did he come from? right now he is shouting "I've got Christmas, I've got Christmas...."

Keir has this thing where he dances when he needs to go pee because he is to busy doing whatever it is he's doing and doesn't want to take the time to go. So this is his new thing. Here is what he says when I ask the dreadful question:

Me: "Keir do you need to go pee? You're dancing, I think you need too."

Keir: "No. I just feel like dance'n for fun."

Me: "What did you say? (laughing)"

Keir: "Um, I said.. can I have some of yours play-doh?"
