What is a Mother to do?

So any advice on what to do with a 3 year old boy who likes to steal? He has been stealing from peoples houses. Weird random things. Today at the Dr.'s office he stole a little stuffed panda bear. We got home, my purse was on the floor with things ripped out of it and then he kept his bedroom door shut. Come to find out he was hiding the ugly stuffed panda. I made him take it back and apologize but obviously it had no effect because he was asking where my purse was at my moms so that he could steal a sucker from her that I said he couldn't have! One of these days he's going to shoplift and stick it in my purse and then I am going to look like and feel like a complete Idiot!

WHAT TO DO? HOW DO I GET THROUGH TO HIM? I AM OPEN FOR IDEA'S!

Hope you all had a THANKFUL thanksgiving! I have so much to be thankful for. This last year has been a tough one, we have really been put to the test. I am thankful for my trials! I am thankful for a loving caring supportive Hubby and two wonderful, beautiful children! I am thankful for our parents and the love and generosity they have shown and given us!

Finally....

We got the Internet today!! I am going a little Post crazy just a little warning!

So big yet so little

She is getting so big. She has been scooting since she was 5 months, started sitting at 6 months and now she's been getting up on her knees rocking. She even took a few crawls (however you would word it) the other day. On saterday when John went to get her out of her crib She was standing :( I know I am suppose to be excited but I don't want her to get big/older. With your first one, well with me anyway, it was when is he going to do this and when is he going to do that, but now I know better cause I know the damage that can be done with this and that! She is so little though at her last Dr appt a couple of weeks ago she weighed only 12 lbs 7 oz. I got a little teary eyed. I worry that she's not gaining enough weight but she's happy and healthy so all is well with this Little Miss Sunshine!

Sweaty Sleeper!

Keir is a HOT SWEATY sleeper. He fell asleep on the couch and when he woke up from his lovely nap you would have though he'd just taken a bath, Nope wrong!

Yummy! Don't worry I wiped the puddle up off the couch!

Keir insisted on being a Triceratops. Don't ask me why but I couldn't change his mind. It was cute that he cared so much! For Myla Moo one look at the ladybug costume and I was sold then I put her in it and the faces she was pulling was way to irresistible!

So today when I was at Home Depot with the chitlens and the Ma, I Meet Nie Nie! I felt like I was meeting a SUPER STAR!

I approached her and said..."Sorry I don't mean to bother you, but I love your blog."

She replyed, "Oh thank you."

I added, " And you were fabulous on Oprah!"

Nie, "Oh thanks, I feel silly for doing it."

Me, "No, you were great! I really admire you!."

Nie, "Thank you."

Totally Awesome! I Know!

New but Used Table

John and I were due for a new table so I thought I was save us a few and just buy a used one and refinish it. I found this beaut for $30 (I forgot to get a before pic but you get the general Idea of what it looks like) John went out of town hunting so I though after I put the kids down for bed my Mom and I can tackle this beast. My mom loves when I involve her in my projects (not really) I convince her by telling her it's a bonding experience!

This is Ma sanding away that beautiful forest green color that was so popular in the early 90's!

This was the mother of all beast! Taking Varnish of is a pain. Laterally, my back was killing!

Ma in action! Are you getting why she doesn't enjoy my projects? (if not, it's because she's the one mostly tackling the job. Mother does it best!)

Tonight We, as in Sethy and I, finished the project. Although Ma gets out of this one, well sort of, she had to watch the kids...the credit goes to Sethy Poo on this one. I primed and he painted it! What a lovely job he did! I Can't wait to put 'er together and surround it with my pale yellow chairs for the finale! Thanks Seth and Mom! Don't get to relaxed I'm sure I'll have many more bonding projects to come!!

Fall

This is the tree in front of my parents house and it is so pretty so I thought I'd take a picture before all the leaves fall off! (the picture doesn't do justice for the tree!)

glad I did because right after I took the picture we went and ran an errand and when we got back....

the leaves were gone

:( so sad.

Fall is my favorite and it just never lasts long enough!
